Newborns are best photographed within 3 weeks of birth, but we can photograph newborns up to 8 weeks. Newborn sessions are offered weekdays & weekends, so reach out to ensure availability for your desired date! Document your newborn and family photoshoot with the best newborn photography studio!

WHEN SHOULD NEWBORN PHOTOS BE TAKEN?
Newborns are best photographed 5 to 21 days, but we do photograph older newborns as well.
HOW DOES THE NEWBORN SESSION PLANNING WORK?
When it comes to your baby, leave everything up to me! I will send a planning questionnaire that asks questions about colors, styling, backdrops, outfits and any special requests you may have. All my sessions are designed with the family's requests in mind whether you want your session to be mostly about the family bond, mostly about baby, classic and timeless or with a little bit of whimsey.
SHOULD PARENTS BE IN NEWBORN PHOTOS?
I think it's so very important to include the whole family in your newborn photo session, even grandparents are welcome for generation portraits!
Capturing your newborn and family photoshoot is creating a legacy for your children. Hair and makeup is included for moms. You can get dressed up utilizing my client closet Some families like the natural newborn photography style. The choice is yours! I also have lots of cute dresses for sisters and the boys and men just wear dark jeans or dress pants and a simple top in light and/or dark. So easy!
WHAT SHOULD PARENTS WEAR TO A NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
We want the focus to be on baby and not the brightest color in the photos. I recommend light pinks, blues, black, white, cream and gray. Avoid hot pink, neon green and bright orange as these can cast unflattering colors onto your skin and baby's skin. We provide a client closest of dresses for moms & girls.
HOW DO I BOOK A NEWBORN SESSION WHEN I'M PREGNANT? WHAT AGE SHOULD MY BABY BE FOR THEIR SESSION?
We will hold your newborn session on the calendar with your due date. I book a limited number of sessions per month and this includes due dates. When your baby is born, and after you have a couple days to heal we will schedule your photo shoot date for when baby is 10-20 days old. Newborns are best photographed under 3 weeks old, under 2 is preferred. This way baby is still super sleepy and bendy and we can have a wonderful session with lots of sets!
MY BABY IS ALREADY BORN. CAN I STILL BOOK A SESSION?
Yes! Please do not hesitate to contact us if your baby is already here to see if we can squeeze you in. Although we prefer babies under three weeks old, we will photograph babies up to 8 weeks old.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
I will send a prep guide that helps prepare you and baby the morning of your photo shoot. This will also list items to bring, but honestly I provide everything needed - all you need to bring is a baby and milk!
IS EDITING INCLUDED FOR MY NEWBORN PORTRAITS?
You may notice a distinct look to all my babies with perfect flawless skin and nice soft backdrops. This is a mix of how I light and shoot and the retouching I do. All sessions include full retouching, including skin retouching and blemish removal. We also offer "model" editing for moms when doing a more glamorous look. Slimming and anti-aging are also included upon request.

Absolutely! We offer maternity, newborn and milestone session pricing to capture your pregnancy through baby’s first year portraits.
